This Labor Day weekend, I am going to be spending a little time in Gdansk, Poland for a trip home with my boyfriend who was born and raised in Poland!
Located in Northern Europe on the coast of the Baltic Sea, Gdańsk is Poland’s principal seaport, and from what I hear, it is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!
Gdansk is also home to St. Mary’s Church, the largest brick church in the world as well as Neptune statue, a famed landmark. But to be honest, I am more excited about experiencing some traditional Polish food like steak tartare and pierogi and strolling along the Baltic Coast. Not to mention, the shopping! Poland, especially Gdansk, is famous for it’s amber – which also happens to be my middle name.

German and Dutch-style townhouses line the streets, which are known for having some of the most unique architectural designs in the world. Walking here will feel like walking in an old traditional place from back in time with narrow, cobble streets lined with merchants – I can’t wait!!!
My passport expired a few months ago so I had to head into the Passport Office and have mine renewed! 2 days and about 5 hours later, I have my new one in hand and am ready to go! So excited!!!!
