Runway to Room Event at Grange with Derek Warburton

This Monday, Derek Warburton of DerekLovesShopping.com worked his styling skills to raise money for Housing Works. The event called, Runway to Room, was held at the Grange Showroom in NYC and featured a hand picked (by Derek himself) selection of gently used designer clothing from the Housing Works warehouse! Cabana Cachaca, Brazilian Rum, sponsored the event which also included platters of tasty treats like mini-quiches and red velvet cupcakes. (Yum!)

Carl Pascuzzi at Design on a Dime

This past Thursday (May 6th), Carl Pascuzzi (www.edgewallcoverings.com) donated his creative talent to raise money for Housing Work's Design on a Dime event. This year marked Housing Works Thrift Shop's 6th Annual Design on a Dime fundraising event which kicked off with an Opening Night Reception at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. The idea is that 50 of the world's top interior designers come together to create unforgettable room vignettes with new merchandise, donated and then sold for 50 - 70% off retail pricing. Lifestyle guru, Derek Warburton (DerkLovesShopping.com) was one of this year's designer and his aesthetic was inspired by Carl Pascuzzi's custom made wallpaper!
