For her Spring 2013 Presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Tory Burch chose to have her models in simple make-up and wearing a look I absolutely love this season – a side fish braid!

On her blog, Tory Burch has a post about Nian Fish the Model Whisperer, who kept the models inspired backstage at her show. Nian offered a sort of poem which contains some interesting words that I certainly related to like the very specific line “You’re about to travel around the world…With your boyfriend! Go!”
Um, did Nian Fish read my mind or is traveling the world with your boyfriend just a common theme right now? Either way, it struck a chord and made me smile and isn’t that the point – for fashion to make you happy and feeling inspired? I think so.
