The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is no doubt the hottest event of the holiday season. (Although, the after party certainly comes in as a close second!) This year, Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Maroon 5 shared the stage with the Victoria’s Secret Angels as did pop star, Nicki Minaj, who rocked a bright pink wig, an orange- belted bustier, and a blinged out pink microphone (photo below)! What I love about the V.S. show is the extreme production value that goes into bringing the worlds of lingerie, music, and overall visual entertainment together for a killer, annual show.
This season’s collections includes Flamenco-inspired lingerie with bold colors, ballet themed lingerie (think feathers, tutus, and legwarmers), the Super-Angels segment of the show, Passion Play, Angels Aquatic, I Put a Spell on You, and Club Pink. The PINK segment will, par for course, have plenty of sequins and pom poms embellished onto hoodies and brightly colored T-shirts. Meanwhile, neon wings and rainbow legwarmers are paired with tutus, and neon, yellow wedges.

This year’s Fantasy Bra is worn by Super-Angel, Miranda Kerr, who dons the body-guarded masterpiece, studded with $2.5 million worth of diamonds. The Fantasy Bra is revealed to the audience during the “Angels Aquatic” segment that includes mermaid goddesses wearing lingerie with pearls and shell wings. Also, during the show, Alessandra Ambrosio wears a 30-pound pair of Passion Play Fan Wings covered in 105,000 Swarovski crystals!
