Strenesse Blue Spring/Summer 2012 takes us on a cruise through the Mediterranean
The Spring/Summer 2012 collection of Strenesse Blue found its inspiration along the Mediterranean Sea. Cool business outfits are drawn from the modern architecture of Valencia, while dramatic flowing skirts display colors matching the masonry and the earthy tones of Casablanca’s landscape.
This season’s STRENESSE BLUE collection focuses on the transformation and mounting excitement that occurs when traveling on a boat. The horizon is constantly changing and a traveler must be ready for anything, from relaxing on the boat, to having a candle-lit dinner on land. Casual looks feature stylish bikini tops under a short, boxy blazer with boot-cut trousers in ocean blue, while sophisticated tops and dresses with lurex threads and sequins catch the light of the ocean.

The business vibe of the Sicilian capital Palermo calls for soft boot-cut trousers paired with slim blazers. On the other side of the sea, Valencia offers modern and clean shapes, inspiring girlish-powder toned slim suits, and chunky knitted cardigans in gold.
The journey ends in Casablanca, with a fairy tail mood given off by the mysterious mosques and blazing desert sand. Artfully wrapped long gold and python-print dresses fit well in the blazing desert, and knitted rayon emphasizes the lines of the body, reflecting the ever present romance of Ingrid Bergmann and Humphrey Bogart.
The collection focuses on the journey through the Mediterranean, and the chic and easy transformation of style from one stop to the next.
The Spring/Summer 2012 collection of STRENESSE BLUE presentation took place in Berlin.
STRENESSE BLUE isn’t the only fashion collection that has recently been inspired by the Mediterranean. Pamella Roland’s 2011 Collection was heavily influenced by Roland’s trip to breathtaking Greece.
