Noon by Noor’s inspiration was drawn from the migration patterns of visiting birds to the archipelago through out the year. The colors of this collection were very nice, and the pieces were also sophisticated. The colors were soft grey, winter green, opulent purple, deep red and burgundy (my favorite that they chose), navy, and black. Bow blouses, calfskin bomber jackets, printed blazers and tops, wool coats, etc. were amoung all of the many pieces. Swarovski embellishments adored silk and knitwear. I feel as though the designers paid great attention to the detailing of every piece. Their dresses were beautiful.
My favorite pieces of the collection had to be the ‘Michelle’, ‘Lui’, and ‘Isabella’. The Isabella was breathtaking! Michelle was a black cashmere polo knit, black double silk crop blazer with embellishments, black double silk pleated skirt with embellishments and embroidery. The Lui was a red double silk jumpsuit with embellishments and bee embroidery. The Isabella.. aka showstopper was a red double silk backless gown with sculpted skirt.
This collection was all about the prints, and embellishments. The designers made great choices with the prints/colors. There are some prints that just don’t have a jaw-dropping effect if they are not in the correct color. The prints and colors were definitely on point. The fabrics that the designers chose to utilize were perfect for the look that they were going for. Everything came together very nicely. Every piece spoke to you in a different way, and with all of the detail every piece had a personality of it’s own. I could see someone picking something great to wear out of this collection for day and night. I would describe this collection in three words — Sophisticated, Classy, and Exotic.[nggallery id=293]You can read more about Xenia Janniere on her website Fashion Xensation
