Friend and fashion designer Marisol Deluna presented a collection of apparel and accessories at her 15th Anniversary Fashion Show, which took place at the historic General Society Library in New York City. The event offered a retrospective of Deluna’s couture work for non-profit organizations alongside a broad range of retail designs. “With my label turning 15, it’s time to take a look back and offer a glimpse forward. This was our first solo runway show by choice. Keeping a low profile has allowed us to build a loyal customer base without compromising our vision,” said Deluna.
The runway show displayed over 40 looks, which came down the runway to an upbeat tempo and included dresses, skirts, blouses, wraps, scarves and handbags for women and girls alongside shorts, neckerchiefs, hats, caps, belts, ties, bowties and cufflinks for men and boys. Yoga gear and pet wear were also shown with perhaps one of the cutest models I have ever seen – a mini black pomeranian (see pic below). The silk and cotton fabrics used in each of the looks were printed with Deluna’s iconic textile designs and exuberant color palette.
In attendance were Fashion Group International President Margaret Hayes, fashion insiders Tia Walker, Benjamin Le hay,Jeremy Logan-Cavendish, William Kapfer and fellow designers John Bartlett, Keanan Duffty, Rod Keenan and David Hart, Loris Diran, among others. Photos after the jump.

The show ended in celebratory fashion with models dancing on the catwalk led by Marisol.
