Looking forward to Fall/Winter 2012, Patricia Clyne speaks of her inspiration behind the 2012 F/W Helios & Luna Collection.
“This season, I went to an art gallery for my inspiration for the new Helios & Luna Collection for Fall 2012. I became obsessed by the British conceptual modern artist Martin Creed. His graphic bold strokes and colors reflect the spirit of the woman the collection is designed for”.
Patricia, a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, has been designing clothes since childhood and has seen her designs in major fashion publications including Vogue and in major fashion retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman. Collaborating with Helios & Luna, Patricia has created a collection that is modern, feminine, and luxurious. She’s a visionary designer who believes in delighting the eye with fresh color and surprising silhouettes, while providing impeccable quality and fit. And she has plenty of experience in doing so, having served as design director for the Oscar by Oscar de la Renta line for a decade prior to joining Helios & Luna. Today, Patricia dedicates her talents to elevating the Helios & Luna brand — bringing customers chic separates, smart suiting, whimsical sportswear and stunning occasion dressing. She says she takes as much inspiration from conversations with her girlfriends as she does from what’s new on Parisian runways. “My muse is the well-dressed woman. Anywhere I see her, I take note.”
Patricia Clyne’s Fall/Winter 2010 Collection for Helios & Luna will be presented on February 8 2012 at New York Fashion Week.
