Eva Zissu presented her collection of handbags during Aruba In Style’s runway show for Venezuelan designers. The collection featured exotic, animal prints, cowhides, and plenty of embellishments like trims and fringe that came in a variety of lengths and colors. There were also a few pieces that had a metallic finish, which I found to be really eye catching and beautiful!
Eva Zissu makes a variety of different sized handbags including satchels, large totes, weekend bags (my personal fave), hobos, and smaller clutches. After the show, Eve hosted an after party at a local hot-spot, Casa Tua Barcelona. The event included live music, an open bar (I enjoyed some Balashi), and some of the best paella to be found on the island. I also got to bring home a small, brown cowhide change purse, which was included in the giftbag and has already found a permanent home in my handbag. See the photo gallery below:

Since her time for sending models and designs down the runway was limited, Eva Zissu chose to have each of the models carry several handbags at once. This would be my only complaint for the show since I think each handbag would have been showcased better if paired with a model separately – even if that meant sending a few models down the runway at a time. Other than that, however, the show was great.
