Briella Calafiore is known as the fun-loving, blond, ‘boob monster’ from Jerseylicious.
Recently, I caught up with the Style network’s reality star and asked her a few questions about life on the show, her passion for styling hair, and her family’s reaction to her being on Jerseylicious!

About Briella
Q: How did you get involved with ‘Jerseylicious’ and how has it shaped where you are at today in your career?
I got an a message on Myspace almost 2 years ago. It was a random message being sent out to all hairstylists and makeup artists on myspace. The message was basically asking me “why I should be on TV” and so on. I wrote a long email back stating why I’m so “jersey” and they responded immediately. They initially wanted me to work as a hairstylist at the Gatsby but I was working somewhere else and said I wouldn’t work there. When they found out that me and Olivia were friends they cast me as her roommate. I guess the rest is history?
Obviously now I have a fan base so I know once I start regularly working as a hair stylist I will build my clientele fast. I’m excited to see how far I can go in the Beauty industry because thats been my dream and passion forever.
Q: If you had to choose between doing reality television or styling hair, which would you rather do?
Reality TV has been paying the bills, I wont lie. BUT hair will always be my number one passion forever. I was born to do hair and make people feel good about themselves.
Q: How have your friends and family responded to your being on television?
My family is ridiculously proud of me and brag about me all the time, maybe a little too much! My TRUE friends are proud and will stand by me no matter what. I would be lying if I said they’re wasn’t some jealousy with girls over the show, but it comes with the territory.
Q: What have you learned about yourself by watching yourself on TV?
I’ve learned that I touch my hair too much, I get fidgety, and my eyes wander. I have ADD to the MAX so I need to keep it in check. OH! and I’ve learned to never ever chew gum in a scene ever again. I did that in an episode in season one and it looked trashy.
Q: There seems to be a lot of talk about ‘boobs’ when you’re on the show or in the news, what advice would you give to women who are considering having breast implants?
I LOVE boobs. I think they make women, women. If you are considering getting implants do your research, find good doctor, and make sure you are getting the surgery for YOU and to make YOU feel better about your body. Getting implants for anything or anyone else will definitely result in regret.
Q: What would you say is your signature style?
I don’t have one. I get sick of things on the daily. I go from hippie, to glam, to rocker, to casual in a single week. I WISH I had a signature style, it might make my life a little easier.
Q: If you could only listen to 5 CD’s for the rest of your life, what artists and what albums would you choose?
Hmmmm … Spice Girls, La Bouche, Drake, Fabolous, and Britney Spears.
Q: Are there any celebrities that you haven’t met that you want to meet? And/Or What celebrities have you met that you were excited about meeting?
I met Kim and Khloe Kardashian when I went to California 3 years ago. I was super excited about meeting them because I think they are hysterical and are great role models to REAL women with REAL bodies. They probably thought I was crazy because I talked a mile a minute but oh well!
Q: If you were able to travel in time for just one trip, what event would you choose to go to and witness and/or who would you want to meet and why?
I would want to meet Marilyn Monroe. It’s definitely a trend with girls loving her so much but I TRULY love her. I wish she was a happier person and had more love surrounding her. Its a shame she died so young.
